" At the beginning, it was just to entertain our friends..."
Enigma Liège was developed by two old friends from Liège, Adrien André and Dorian Schyns.
After having completed his PhD in genetics in 2017, Adrien currently works in the GeCoLAB, a spin off from the University of Liège aiming to protect the wildlife by the use of genetical tools.
Dorian owns a master degree in philosophy and teaches morality and citizenship in secondary schools around Liège.
Role-players, gamers and always thirsty for some challenges, both are enigma aficionados.
In 2015, they created their first treasure hunt with the help of their two other roommates (Aurore Compère and Justine Huppe). Following the success of this first edition designed for fifteen of their friends, a second one was organized the next year and gathered more than thirty participants. In view of the generated enthusiasm and the insistence for a third edition, Dorian and Adrien decided to take the step and open their activity to the public.
This is how Enigma Liege is born.
